She sparkles, this girl.
The creative process is so finicky sometimes. I wasn't too happy with this girl when we first met, but after spending hours with her, paintbrush, stamps, and sparkles in hand, I finally grew to accept her for who she was becoming.
Maybe it was the bird in her hair.
Or maybe it was the empty bird cage, letting me know that her troubles had been set free. That she had been set free to fly and to grow in all of her potentiality.
Or maybe it was the message that resonated with me.
Because we all need to sparkle sometimes, don't we?

Art is subjective but it is often a commentary on who we are or want to be individually and as a society. Your profile mentions you're a work in progress. Anyone who's busy with their lives is making progress and that progress is the journey.
