My first week of business has been phenomenal, and I spent all of Saturday packaging the orders and getting them ready to mail on Monday. It's pretty exciting to be taking this step, or leap, into art entrepreneurship. It even motivates me to clean up my studio/office space. Now! And create a special place for packaging materials, so I won't have to stop and create again when I'm busy doing the packaging part. Labels can be printed by the sheet and stored in a specific place. The little accoutrements that my packages wear out the door could be prepared in advance. I get that now. Seriously!
It takes time to build the inventory, but I currently have a variety of the 4Square photo note cards available, and three of my girl prints are available as cards. Soon, I hope to add prints of the photographs AND of the girls. Patience, I tell myself. Patience.
